Inside Prora

Description

Ravages of time and disuse show in an upstairs corridor inside Prora. Built by the Third Reich from 1936 to 1939, Prora was meant to be a Baltic Sea holiday resort large enough to house 20,000 guests. It was never completed and used as intended. Today, it still stands along five kilometers of Baltic Coast as an architectural relic and a target for redevelopment in the community.
