Building of Prora, ruins of a Nazi resort

Description

The buildings of Prora stretch across five kilometers of Baltic coast on Ruegen Island in Germany. Built by the Third Reich from 1936 to 1939, Prora was meant to be a Baltic Sea holiday resort large enough to house 20,000 guests. It was never completed and used as intended. Today, this architectural relic is a target for redevelopment in the community.
